Family
I love this city. I live here. I worship here. My wife and I built our business here, and all of our children attended local schools. Because I’m fully invested in Adairsville, I ran for office to help shape the decisions that affect our community. Over the past twelve years, our city has celebrated many successes — and I believe our future is even brighter.
Lee is uniquely suited to serve as a councilman for the City of Adairsville, because he has been responsible for infrastructure, budgets, and planning. Along with a degree in business administration, he holds many certifications in the field of Information Technology. These qualifications lead him to Georgia with a corporate career at The Weather Channel, Dixie Yarns, and over 10 years with Shaw Industries. As a Network Architect, and eventually an Information Systems Manager, Lee was responsible for the management of systems, projects and employees with budgets far exceeding that of the current city budget.
In addition to his corporate career, Lee joined his wife to develop Denise Castro CPA and Associates. Lee and Denise, along with their staff, have worked tirelessly to serve their customers by providing professional accounting services and excellent financial advice. From the very beginning, many of their colleagues urged them to move their practice to a larger city. However, For Lee and Denise, this was never an option. They were committed to building their business in Adairsville.

Community
For well over a 22 years, Lee was the worship leader at NorthPointe Church in Adairsville. From youth retreats, missions trips, children's ministry and community aid, Lee has been instrumental in growing this unique, all-volunteer church that has truly made an impact on Adairsville and surrounding areas.
Together they have 3 children; Ashlee, Lee Jr., and Natalee.
Ashlee Castro graduated from Adairsville High school and is a Nurse Practitioner. She has two degrees from Kennesaw State University and a Masters degree from UAB.
Lee Jr. began his education in Mr. Bass’ kindergarten class at Adairsville Elementary and graduated from Adairsville High School. He is currently working as a computer technician.
Their youngest daughter, Natalee, attended Missouri state university as a performance arts recruit.
Lee is married to Denise Howell Castro of Brandon, Mississippi. Denise graduated with honors from Kennesaw State University with a Masters in Accounting.
In addition to their children, Lee and Denise were fortunate enough to serve as parent and guardians for Jon Upshaw. Jon lived with the Castro's during his high school years and is now graduate of the University of West Georgia.
